    Introducing Focus by CMNTY
    Sharon, a Senior Research Analyst for a sportswear company wants to understand what physically active millennials expect from athletic clothing. She wants to do this by inviting a group of millennials to participate in an online community with qual and quant research activities. <br /><br />To recruit these millennials, she wants to use CMNTY Platform’s Dynata integration, giving her access to over 60 million consumers and business professionals globally.<br /><br />To compile the request, Sharon selects Panel in the Manage section of the Admin of Community Platform.<br /><br />She then browses the available Project Topics which Dynata panel members have selected as areas of interest and chooses “Sports” and can now create her Target Group. <br /><br />After saving, the Target Group shows fields for Completes and Incidence. <br />Completes means the total number of people you need in your panel. <br />Incidence, or Qualifying Rate, is the percentage of the entire Dynata panel you expect will meet all of the attributes you set.<br /><br />The lower the incidence rate, the more panel members are needed. Setting incidence to 50% with 100 completes, means that about 200 recruits will be offered to join your panel in order to reach 100 qualified panel members.<br /><br />Now, Sharon chooses the attributes of the panel members. Seeking physically active millennials, she selects “Gender” as “Male” & “Female”. <br />“Age” as “23 through 38”. And “Interests General” as “Sports”, “Outdoor Activities” & “Fitness”.<br /><br />Sharon allocates the number of panel members for each attribute. She sets “men” to 60% and “women” to 40%. Focusing on athletes and physically active millennials, she sets “Sports” to 40%, “Outdoor Activities” to 20%, and “Fitness” to 40%.<br /><br />Seeking an even distribution of men and women across the interest fields, Sharon connects the Gender and Interests General attributes.<br /><br />Sharon can click “Estimate Price” to get an expected cost for sourcing this panel.<br /><br />The tool will share whether the Target Group is feasible, meaning completes and incidence rate is achievable within the Dynata pool of panel members, and lists the total cost and cost per incidence for the Group.<br /><br />Sharon is pleased her Target Group is feasible and affordable, so she chooses to “Buy Target Group”.     David, a Market Researcher for a sportswear company is seeking to understand what gym styles inspire their customers during their workouts. He wants to use these insights to provide his product and marketing teams with direction.<br /><br />On his community platform, David launches a brainstorming Challenge called: “Share Your Perfect Gym” and he enables the MoodBoard feature. This will allow people to create a visual representation of their thoughts, feelings and ideas by placing images on a canvas.<br /><br />Here, community member Jared selects the canvas layout he wants to build upon. He then starts searching for images that match his ideas of a “perfect gym”. The images are automatically pulled from the built-in free stock photo library. <br /><br />Jared chooses the images he likes and drags them to the desired spot in the layout. <br /><br />If Jared found better images to add to his MoodBoard elsewhere, he can upload the image to his Gallery.<br /><br />Once he is happy with his MoodBoard, Jared can add the MoodBoard to his idea and submit the idea to the Challenge.<br /><br />By clicking the Pulse icon in the menu, David can go directly to CMNTY Pulse to review and analyze MoodBoard content.<br /><br />For example, by using image recognition, CMNTY Pulse can create word clouds based on MoodBoard images and image attachments uploaded to the Challenge. <br /><br />To do this, David chooses Challenge as the source and chooses “Share Your Perfect Gym” as the Category.<br /><br />Word Clouds can be quickly downloaded as an image, which David can add to his report. <br /><br />In only a few clicks, David can collect visual cues on what inspires his customers when thinking about their perfect gym.     MoodBoards - Visual Brainstorming and Visual Analysis using MoodBoards
